Internships for students pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work.

We pride ourselves on having a rich program that allows our students to experience a variety of competencies in working with at-risk youth, ages 0-22, and their families.

You will gain experience in crisis intervention, case management, assessments & intakes, working with a multi-disciplinary team, as well as community outreach.  Master level interns will have an opportunity to provide individual, group and family counseling.

We can also provide Macro students with experience in becoming familiar with local, state, federal and agency policies that affect our client population.

  • Full-day orientation

Our Social Work interns will work under close supervision with on-site professionals in several settings (Emergency Shelter, Transitional Living Program & Youth Resource Center). City House has developed strong relationships with multiple universities within Texas, as well as out of state.
